For my Facebook organization, "Stop Comedy Theft: 1,000,000 Strong Against the Menace Known as Carlos Menstealia," I will produce numerous amounts of pamphlets with information about my cause and ways people can join and participate.
Already the cause has amassed 100 members in a about a span of a month. I want to broaden the recruitment base to something more than just the internet. My co-administrator and I are in the midst of setting up a booth for people to join. We also are planning to post wanted posters depicting a criminalization of Carlos Mencia.
Accordingly to my calculations, at my current rate of 100 new members a month, it would take about 833.33 years to reach 1 million people. Since modern medicine has yet to find a reputable cure for death, time is of the essence. In order to get people to "see what my mean," more active recruitment is necessary.
I want to target the Hispanic community and let them know Carlos Mencia is degrading their culture and values. It is my contention Mencia is a phony-Hispanic acting under false pretenses to accumulate his own riches. Metaphorically speaking, he is raping an entire race of people.
I want to make sure people around my community know the difference between Carlos Mencia and real Hispanic comedians such as George Lopez and Richard "Cheech" Marin. The difference being two are who they say are and the other's real name is Ned.

This is a very original idea. I would love to join your group, too. I think it will be good project, but be prepared for opposition. It is well though out and you seem to be prepared to present your case. I think that comparing him to other Hispanic comedians will be a very strong point in your argument, since he obviously doesn't hold a candle to the others. The wanted posters are a really good and funny idea too. One weakness could be how you stand up to opposition, but it doesn't have to be. As long as you are prepared, you should have a strong defense against Carlos Mencia. Another weakness is the possibility of offending people. I'm sure it will offend people, but you probably shouldn't be too brutal about it. For some public literacy, you could make a pamphlet or something similar with a famous joke by Carlos Mencia, and near it a famous joke by Cheech Marin or George Lopez. While Mencia's would just say nonsense, the other would be an actual joke, illustrating their superiority over Carlos Mencia. Pamphlets that list all the phony and bad things could also be helpful, but if you listed everything that would be a giant pamphlet. Just having some facts about his phony act and his stupid jokes would also be some public literacy you could use. Tell me where to sign up, and I will join your cause!

I couldn't bring myself to get those pictures, and I couldn't bring my laptop to school, but those would have been good ways to get people's attention. I did use pamphlets with pictures of cute animals, though, which did catch some people's eyes. Thank you very much!
