- Minimum Wage- it should be raised to at least $10 or more. These turbulent economic times call for an increase in the cost of living, thus the minimum wage should increase to meet the change.
- The cost of college tuition- Will I have enough to pay for college next year?
- Public smoking should be banned all together. For too long now, we have known the risks and the dangers of smoking. Its time to put an end to it
- Will there be jobs for me in the summer while im not at college
- Carlos Mencia-will anyone ever take him to court to punish him for being a comedy thief? Lars Ulrich sued the guy who started Napster for stealing music so why doesn't anyone sue Mencia for stealing jokes from such comic legends as Bill Cosby, George Lopez, and George Carlin?
- Pepsi- should not be sold at the same stores Coca Cola's sold at. It makes my kidneys want to commit suicide.
- Nick Cannon- he's married to Mariah Carey and I'm not.
- I hate girls that wear Abercrombie and Fitch. thats about it

First off, I agree minimun wage should be raised. But if it is raised too fast it will just cause more econimic issues and major inflation. Next, I think that public smoking should not be banned. If you don't enjoy being smoked around, then move somewhere that people are not smoking. If you dont want to do that politley ask them to move to another location and I'm sure they will move. This is America we all have the right to make our own choices.
ReplyDeleteI agree in a sense about minimum wage but like D.B. stated above increasing minimum wage will hurt us in the long run, there has to be some other way to help the financial issues. As for the smoking I agree, there are a lot of people today that are getting lung cancer because of second hand smoke and they have never smoked a day in their life.
ReplyDeleteFirstly, I agree about the smoking concern, i agree that just because America is a free country and we have the right to make our own decisions, doesnt mean we have to endure discomfort while walking into a building, or sitting at a bar. Secondly, i disagree about the minimum wage solely on the fact That i am a business owner myself, and if i my payroll were to spike at the rate it would if the minimum wage was rasied, then i would go into the red.

ReplyDeleteI coudln't agree more about the public smoking. It's not fair to people that don't smoke to get 2nd hand smoke. I've never smoked and I think I have a right too.
ReplyDeleteI smoked for 5 years from age 15 to 20 and now that I quit, I can bitch about it. It feels great to get onto other people for smoking. To brag to them how I can taste better than they can and smell the fresh dew on the grass. Smoking is more than just a stimulant, it's a mind controller. I'm free now.
